Apple Brings The App Store To The Browser

Two weeks ago, Apple expanded iTunes Preview for the app store , so you can preview applications in your browser. Today, Apple improves its iTunes Preview, and now you can browse the app store through your browser.

Two weeks ago, Apple expanded iTunes Preview for the app store , so you can preview applications in your browser. Today, Apple improves its iTunes Preview, and now you can browse the app store through your browser.

At the moment the browser version is pretty “blank” but at least you do not need iTunes to find apps. You sill need iTunes to buy/download the apps. Maybe Apple is trying to get us drunk with cold water and tell us, that they are not such a close platform. This is non-the-less a step forward , but 1 year too late. Cydia ( probably the only direct competitor ) is available on the web for quite some time now…
