We told you that Apple released the iPhone SDK 3.2 beta that features the iPad simulator and we did a demo video of the iPad Simulator. Yes, Apple presented us yesterday, the much anticipated tablet. Sadly because the expectations were too high ( damnn you thousands of rumors ) and (we strongly believe that) Apple just did a preview of the tablet ( tablet is clearly built for OS 4.0 and it not the tablet we’ve seen yesterday) too many people are disappointed. So , it’s only natural that we search for the tablet “Atlantis”.
So far we found that Apple already implemented features for a possible camera, maybe a built-in one in the v2.0 or maybe 3rd party cams. Digging deeper we found that the iPad can possible feature voice commands. As you can see in the screenshot above, there is a plugin implemented in the SDK called “VoiceDial” . This is where Apple lost us. Why did they call it VoiceDial? It will most probably have the voice commands function like the iPhone 3Gs has. Is it for VoIP apps? But if has no cam… The iPad uses a micro SIM card, which is not voice compatible ( feel free to correct us ) so making calls with the iPad is out of the question…
As soon as we have more info, we’ll let you know…
