Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Unveils Steve Jobs Wax Figure [video]

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of Steve Jobs‘s death, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has unveiled an eerily realistic  wax figure of Apple’s co-founder and former CEO.

According to Madame Tussauds, the figure’s pose was inspired by photographs Jobs took for the cover of Fortune magazine in 2006. The statue has him wearing his signature black mock turtleneck, blue jeans, and Lunor glasses. The museum says it took artists three months to create the statue and ran up a bill of $193,476.

That Steve Jobs wax figure will be on display at Madam Tussauds Hong Kong from September 27 to November 26. After that, it’s going on a tour to Madame Tussauds Bangkok and then Madame Tussauds Shanghai.
