steve-jobs-FSMdotCOM

CNBC ranked today the most influential business and financial leaders from the past 25 years. The list was compiled in order to commemorate CNBC’s launch in 1989, and topping the list on the first place is Apple’s Steve Jobs.

His creative genius revolutionized not just his industry and its products, but also everything from music and movies to smartphones. He provided a platform for others to create and distribute apps, bringing innovation and change to an even wider sphere. Apple’s co-founder tops our anniversary list of the 25 most transformative leaders, icons and rebels of the past-quarter century. More than any other member of our group of extraordinary entrepreneurs and executives—all outstanding leaders—his vision spurred changes far beyond his industry and put an indelible stamp on the wider culture.

Louis Vaughn Rhymes Over Classic Jay Z. Aspires To Be Like Steve Jobs [video]

unlike Jay’s classic, Louis rhymes about hustling to get up there with the people he most admires and are looked up to in our culture: Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Tupac, Steve Jobs, Billie Holiday and Bob Marley ( feels like a game of ‘Which one doesn’t belong? )

maxresdefaultLouis Vaughn ( the son of J-Ro from Tha Alkaholiks ) released a video where he rhymes over a classic Jay Z – Dead Presidents. But unlike Jay’s classic, Louis rhymes about hustling to get up there with the people he most admires and are looked up to in our culture: Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Tupac, Steve Jobs, Billie Holiday and Bob Marley ( feels like a game of ‘Which one doesn’t belong? )

This music video is symbolic for how I’d like to be represented when my time here is complete.

When I think of Presidents, I think of the people who are looked up to in our culture’s society.

The people that are given full attention whenever they speak.

Just like those Dead Presidents represented in this exhibit, what I do and say will live way beyond my last days here as well.

The Apple iCup Hooks Up to Your Computer to Keep Your Coffee Warm [video]

Tomislav took the familiar Apple Computers logo and made that the form of the mug, providing the leaf and the bite mark as great handgrips. The saucer takes the same outline.

1-1Tomislav Zvonarić created an office coffee cup concept – the iCup. The idea is old …keep your coffee (tea, milk, etc) warm by hooking the cup via USB to a computer. But, Tomislav took the familiar Apple Computers logo and made that the form of the mug, providing the leaf and the bite mark as great handgrips. The saucer takes the same outline.

Now, with a USB cable, plug Zvonaric’s Apple iCup into your laptop or desktop device and the thick-walled drinking vessel will stay warm. Your java will keep from cooling off until you choose to disconnect it. If only the iCup had the ability to recreate Steve Jobs’ portrait in the steamed milk foam every time…
