As we all know, comex is working on an untethered solution for jailbreaking iOS 4.2.1, but the iPhone DevTeam just unveiled one of the many aces they got up their sleeves: a backup plan for an untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak.
It’s a ‘backup plan’ because comex is working on a more extensible one, but this method is also generalizable. This method wastes no exploits but it works using the iOS 4.2b3 kernel. So, hopefully you listened to ( all of ) us, when we told you to save your blobs.
