Apple is setting up an impressively large 500,000 square foot iDatacenter in Maiden, North Carolina, making it nearly 5 times larger than Apple’s data center in Newark, California ( 109,000 square foot ). Apple invested $1 billion in their new iDataCenter, making it one of the largest data centers in the world.
