Many things like FaceTime, High Quality YouTube videos and large App Store downloads only work on WiFi and not on 3G or LTE. 3G Unrestrictor fixes this and allows you to go around those restrictions to do all those things while you are on a mobile internet connection. It allows those things by tricking applications into believing they are on WiFi, even though they are on 3G or LTE.
Unless you are brand new to the jailbreak “scene”, you have more then likely heard of a little tweak called “3G Unrestrictor“. The new update is more then just a new icon. It’s a complete rewrite with app specific optimization tools an settings! Currently the only one I have found to have anything worth while in the settings field is YouTube. It allows you I set vid quality preferences, and even has a sbsettings toggle for those times when 3G just can’t handle that HD video. Additionally it also includes optimizations for now iOS 5 system functions like iCloud backup, Photo Stream, and updates.

New day, new update in Cydia Store: 3G Unrestrictor. 3G Unrestrictor allows you to go around the iOS device’s limitation and restrictions of not being able to use some of the apps on 3G or EDGE. Basically it tricks the apps on thinking they are on WiFi , even though you are on 3G or EDGE.
New day, new app in Cydia: My3G. This app is almost identical to 3G Unrestrictor, but it adds a few more features to spice things up. Basically, this app will let you use apps, that requires WiFi, over your 3G network. For example, a couple of days ago, we told you that Apple increased the size of apps that you can download over 3G to 20 MB. Using My3G, you can download over 20 MB over your 3G network.
New day, new app in Cydia store: FaceBreak. This tweak is very simple to use and allows you to make FaceTime calls over 3G. Once installed on your iPhone all you need to do is to reboot your iPhone, and that’s it.

New day, new app in Cydia: ScreenDimmer. ScreenDimmer, developed by the same guys that did 3G Unrestrictor and Firewall iP, allows you to save battery life by automatically dimming your device’s screen after a pre-defined time.
