After reporting that all A4 devices have been untether jailbreaked, Pod2g is getting ready for a release. He says that it will take a few days to finalize the jailbreak ( for *old devices* ), fix stability issues and package the whole thing. But the good news, is that we will see an iOS5 untethered jailbreak before Christmas. Also, thanks to everybody who donated, he can now buy an iPhone 4S and an iPad 2 and will soon start to jailbreak them.
There’s still no exact ETA for this jailbreak . In the meantime, save your blobs with TinyUmbrella, stay away from fake jailbreaks and NEVER EVER pay for a jailbreaking or unlocking software.
NOTE: If you need to unlock your device, don’t just update to a stock iOS 5.0.1 just yet.
