One of the golden rules of jailbreaking is ‘ do not update as soon as you are notified about a new software update ‘ . With Apple’s new OTA ( over the air ) updates, it’s easier than ever to screw it up and the badge on the Settings.app can be annoying. If you want to remove it, there’s a new tweak in Cydia called ‘noOTA Badge’ which will do just that. There’s no options to configure. Just install and enjoy.
