For the first time in its nearly five-year history, the iPhone will soon be available as a prepaid device. Cricket Wireless has announced that it will begin carrying the iPhone 4s on June 22, and Boost Mobile will reportedly get the phone in September.
Cricket will sell the 16 GB iPhone 4s for $499 and the 8 GB iPhone 4 for $399. Both phones will be available with the carrier’s $55 per month talk, text and Internet plan.
