Well the moment you all be waiting for is here. Im talking about the contest, that most of you know about.
For all of you that don’t have any clue what this post is about , read further :
A couple of weeks ago Ive posted on my blog ” how to crack mySMS “. Unfortunately the crack works and not really. I had a massive response to that post , and I want to thank all of you that got into it, and specially if you were trying to help others that had problems with the crack.
A couple of days ago, I was contacted by Pavel Egorkin, one of the developers of mySMS from iSoft.com, and he told me to stop using a crack for their application and gave me a key code to register the app. That mailed blew my mind and I couldn’t belive it.
I took my phone and I was about to enter the code and register mySMS, when I was shocked that I really was about to do that. “What am I doing? This doesen’t belong to me…. I got this because all the wonderful people on my blog. This doesn’t belong to me. “
And I sent a mail back to Pavel and told him, that I am not going to use if for me, as much as I appreciate it, but I am going to give it to somebody that Is reading my blog.
I don’t want to be a fuckin thief, I want to help people, not steal from them. Pavel was so kind, and provided me with some codes and there will be 3 winners on this contest not just one as I planned.
The codes are for mySMS secure version. Now, Pavel will send me a video tutorial on how to use mySMS secure version to it’s full potential. Unfortunately , they are busy now, and they didn’t have time to polish the video. The video will be up on my blog as soon as I got my hands on it.
CONTEST : HOW, WHEN, WHERE?
So, as I mentioned on all the mails I sent, all the comments on my blog, forum posts and all that, THIS WILL NOT IMPLY ANY HARD WORK FROM YOU. Well, no work at all , really. All you need to do is compile a list of 3-5 new features that YOU would like to have in future releases of mySMS
The contest will run for 1 week ( because I want this to be a Christmas gift ) . At the end of this period of time, i will gather all the comments and pass them to Pavel.
Winners will be announced on the blog in a comment from Pavel, and will receive, from me via email the code to register their new mySMS secure version.Fair enough? 
NOTE:
Pavel didn’t send me the video and i dont want to keep you waiting any longer. There is no biggy here , cause when i will get the video i will post it on the blog anyway.
NOTE 2 :
Since we’re not all in the same timezone, the contest will start today December 1st and will end on December 9th ( just to be safe )
NOTE 3 :
As i said above, the contest will end on December 9th. From that date please allow Pavel 1-2 days to decide who the winners are.

1. able to be sent through GPRS/3G (Packet Based)
2. MMS built in

4. Mark/Unmark messages

1. Pic Messages (or ability to decode those “you’ve been sent a picture message” sms and have it auto-login to that site.)
2. Send location (link to point on google maps)
3. Save message toggle (saved messages would show up like starred messages in GMail and not be deteled ever (would have to unstar to delete).
4. Use first few seconds of Ringtone for SMS tone for contact

1) MMS Support if possible, but would be great if it could be integrated.
2) Display name/number should be fixed when receiving an sms(sometimes shows name n otherwise number)
3) Fast Toggle option between landscape and normal and vice versa(depends from user to user).
4) Option to bold words or lines and Higlighting.
5) Classic view of sms/mms without preview of msg when opening inbox or outbox.
6) Delivery reports as notifications on screen & Disable splash screen when opening application.

8. ability to convert files to txt & send via multiple msgs which can be decrypted at the destination iPhone.
9. Convert images to ASCI artwork to sidestep lack of iphone mms. That would kick ASS!

this is an outside tip : if you want to change iphone’s system sounds ( like the sms sound ) in a super easy way check this , subscribe to my rss,and ull get good shit everyday

1. Display name for all SMS except outgoings.
2. Ability to cancel an SMS if one is accidently press sends.
3. Customizable background and SMS speech bubbles
4. Minimal time on the Welcome screen
5. Ability to read conversations at the same time as writing a text in landscape mode or alternatively the ability to swap between landscape and potrait mode where potrait mode would be able to see the original conversation.

4. Time stamps when messages where sent in conversation mode
5. This one I’d really love the ability to back up messages or print messages. Like, save as word.doc and be able to print your conversation with a certain person that shows the date, time etc in chronological order
That would be perfect when girlfriends fight you in a text hehehe See you said this in Dec 1 08 at 12pm followed by me saying this. Of course it works both ways

How about just updating the message thread when a new sms is received? I hate having to exit mysms then re-starting it just to see the stupid messages.

Все мысли по изменениям оссоциируются с см-софтом для симбиан-платформы. Так вот:
1. Отчеты о доставке падают в отдельную папку/сразу помечаются как прочитанные. Чтобы телефон подавал сигнал о том что отчет пришел, но пользователям не приходилось после этого открывать mySMS и стирать/читать это сообщение.
2. Экспорт сообщений на Gmail (просто на почту). Аналогичный функционал есть у программы Gsync на Симбиане. Входящие сообщения закидываются по IMAP во входящие, отправленные – в отправленные. Одно сообщение – одно письмо. Очень удобно.
В качестве альтернативы можно сделать экспорт всей переписки – добавит возможность отправки ее на e-mail. Так, как это сделано в BeeJive.
3. Сделать кнопку типа “блокирование позиции” – чтобы быстро “отключать” акселерометр. Удобно, когда набираешь сообщение лежа или держишь телефон в руке и крутишь руль – экран поворачивается, приходится ждать пока он вернется обратно…
4,5… Может, переделать меню выбора абонента и сделать его аналогичным списку в телефонной книге? Там список получился чуть посимпатичней, чем у вас…

1. Find out a way to put messages like “sms delivered successful” to a separate folder or put “already read” status. Cause i really don’t like to re-open mySMS every time i recive messages like this.
2. Export sms to Gmail account (like program Gsync for Symbian smartphones). Plus give an opportunity to send the whole dialog via email (like sending chat in BeeJive)
3. Adding button “turn accelerometer off” to turn it off while driving a car ок sending sms lying in bed
4,5. Change the style of contact list in MySMS to make it similar with classic iPhone’s contacts

1) MMS (without having to contact AT&T and try to convince them to enable WAP Pushing).
2) Copy/Paste ability.
3) When starting a new SMS message, to go straight into typing the message and not the contact list.
4) Able to start the mySMS from the “Intelliscreen” program.
5) A really cool feature I hope is considered in the near future is the ability to use “voice dictation” to type out text!

1) move and save convoes/single texts/ to certain custom folders for later viewing
ex. all my girlfriends convoes can go in “girfriend folder” while i can still have a convoe wit her in sms
2) slide from side to side to skip threw difforent convoes
3) set “importance” or “favorites” on contacts in mysms. for ex. make John Doe “important” so that his text are always on top and possibly make its own sound when a text from him comes in
4) change the language from within the app
5) view the convoe while typing

1. The more easy way for buying this app, I tried to buy this app, and I didn’t get any code, it won’t allow me to buy it. Just make it easier, no limitation on free email type, please. I even used my company email, still no code. Or maybe like swirlyMMS’ way, simple and faster.
2. Notification on task bar when MySMS is set for default SMS app. So I don’t have to depend on other app like Status Notifier.
(Those, no.1 and no.2, are the main reason I still use other SMS app which support Notification on status bar by Status Notifier.)
3. Option for turning on/off SMS preview in Lockscreen when MySMS is set for default SMS app. I don’t like the idea people could read my SMS accidentally when I don’t use Locked code. Just a simple and nice notification be fine(see number 2).
4. Please, add Send button separate from Return button. Join button makes me irritated.
5. Option for turning on/off accelerometer.

1.) confirm incoming msgs from the notification – as in, I don’t always want to go into the app. if i read it already, i don’t want my phone buzzing and status notifier telling me i have a txt
2.) a save msgs folder. i want to save msgs sometimes, but not in my inbox or sent
3.) a button to switch between landscape and portrait. sometimes accelerometer won’t switch
4.) ability to change sms notification sound

5. Be able to send messages to many people at the same time and do it with a check list instead of having to hit he add button hit one person hit the add button again choose the next person just make it a checklist

1. Emotions would be great, like smiles, sad face, suprised etc.
2. Complete theming or skinning of MySMS would look cool.
3. Putting in a “subject” option like emails would look awesome just to tell people what the SMS is about.
4. Being able to save templetes would make things easier.
5. Being able to put little pictures like a birthday cake to say “Happy Birthday” or love heart to say “I Love You” would give a personal touch to MySMS

3*- Safe delete any one of your messages or entire list! (default client just hide a message, it still be in database. mySMS Secure erase and wipe deleted messages, it can`t be restored)

We already have,
Landscape view, smileys, send info, theme skinning, we have all that in mySMS already! Among other things we have already y’all ask for…have some of you even used da app yet!? Haha
And some of you are askin for stuff that isn’t gonna happen!!!

1. Ability to reply from the text alert box on the springboard or any other application.
2. New function to search messages by sender, message, or both
3. Display timestamp for all messages in conversation view
4. When selecting recipients, be able to select multiple contacts before returning to the write message window
5. Open write message window on pressing new message button instead of going to select contacts first.
6. Remove the call button next to the new message button as there is already one accessible at the top of the conversation view.
7. Move the send button in write message window so when double tap return is not on send is not easily accidentally pressed.
8. Display total number of messages in received, sent, and all message view windows.
