HugeType for the iPhone
I just couldnt find my words for this post , so i decided to insert snippets of text from ncloud’s idea. Love the idea, creative and fun. My only disappointment is that i dont have that many friends , that own a iPhone or Touch to make a FSMdotCOM hugetype. Personally , like i said, i love the idea and i suggest you check it out. hugeType is an experiment with found type on the iPhone. We invite you to tag and search letters from the community, and upload your creations.
Who doesn’t love Typography; we are big fans of it here. So for all you type nerds out there, we’ve got a little present.
It isn’t all Mario Kart and Ping Pong here at the nclud studio, we also make fun little iPhone web apps too when we can squeeze it in. In just a few hours, a little idea turned into a little web app for the iPhone; we are happy to introduce you all to hugeType: http://hugetype.com.
Animoto for iPhone and iPod Touch
Have you ever used animoto? If you didnt, dont worry i will show you how to use it and have some fun with it. Using animoto you can create all sorts of slideshows, holiday greetings and all sorts of cool stuff right away.So im reallllly reallllly happy that this is now available for the iPhone.
REMOVE GOOGLE EARTH COPYRIGHT MARK iPhone/iPod Touch
You got to admit that Google Earth is one of the top apps right now for the iPhone and iPod Touch. I love it. Play with it everyday. But there is one thing that was bothering me. Their damn copyright mark . It always gets in the way. I know Google is the Big Brother, it controls everything and all that. But really, love your users more Google.
So , of course there is a way to remove that annoying Copyright Mark from the app ( if somebody from Google is reading this post, don’t be mad… it just offers a better users experience. No diss to you mighty Google )
How to do it?
- SSH into your device.
- Find in Applications folder Google Earth.app.
- Inside Google Earth.app find a file named drivers.ini.
- Open drivers.ini with a text editor.
- Find the line that says Render/copyrightFontColor = 0x99ffffff
- Change 99 to 00 ( zero zero )
- Save the file
- Enjoy

LEGO BATMAN : GOTHAM CITY GAMES ( .ipa )
Now when you were a kid didnt you just loved this 2 things ( brands ) : LEGO and Batman? I know i did. So when i saw this game for the iPhone/iPod Touch i went crazy. Well it’s not a great game, but you can consider it a time-killer game.
Once you load the game you will need to enter ( create ) a new player. Once you created your new player you will be presented with the game menu, which has 3 categories :
- Story.
- Free Play.
- Options.
mySMS CONTEST FINALE
First of all , I wanna thank all of you for your wonderful job. This was not a contest to see who is harder, better, faster or stronger ( I love Daft Punk 😛 ). I choose to present you this contest for the following reasons :
- Well, I had to come up with a concept that would resemble a competition ( that’s why this was a “contest” )
- Really , the answers didn’t matter. Before the contest I was thinking about it long and hard. How can I make this as easy as possible? So I thought this was the best idea. I wanted you to have fun and make it personal…. Now I may have confused you with ” make it personal ” . Well I wanted to give you the power, and customize this app, with words. And that is exactly what you did. “I want this and that, and this?!?!? U kidding that would be so cool…” Feel me? 😀
This was my best idea for the contest. And it’s a win-win situation. Pavel provided me this codes so he wins because now, he knows exactly what his users wants from this app. And you/we win because some of the features will be implemented in future releases. Now this was the history of the contest.
I said above that your comment didn’t need to be some super geeky comment . But I also said that this was ment to improve this app, for us. the users.
And some of you asked for some stuff that was already there. There already is convo style, you can find themes for mySMS on cydia (ugly ass themes, but hey if you want themes you can find them ) and all sorts of stuff. Don’t worry about it tho, demands like that won’t disadvantage you in any way.
My only disappointment was that I couldn’t provide the tutorial video that I promised you. Don’t worry as soon as I get it from Pavel , that badboy will be on my blog and you will learn how to take full advantage of this app.
That being said, I had fun with this contest, and I promise you this was just a start. With time I will provide you bigger and better contests.

Since it’s Christmas time, and Pavel absolutely ROCKSSSSSS , he gave me another 3 key codes and said i should choose 3 winners . So i would have to deal with this hard work ( of choosing winners ) as well. Hard but…. i will post the winners in a couple of hours.

Well the moment you all be waiting for is here. Im talking about the contest, that most of you know about.
For all of you that don’t have any clue what this post is about , read further :
A couple of weeks ago Ive posted on my blog ” how to crack mySMS “. Unfortunately the crack works and not really. I had a massive response to that post , and I want to thank all of you that got into it, and specially if you were trying to help others that had problems with the crack.
A couple of days ago, I was contacted by Pavel Egorkin, one of the developers of mySMS from iSoft.com, and he told me to stop using a crack for their application and gave me a key code to register the app. That mailed blew my mind and I couldn’t belive it.
I took my phone and I was about to enter the code and register mySMS, when I was shocked that I really was about to do that. “What am I doing? This doesen’t belong to me…. I got this because all the wonderful people on my blog. This doesn’t belong to me. “
And I sent a mail back to Pavel and told him, that I am not going to use if for me, as much as I appreciate it, but I am going to give it to somebody that Is reading my blog.
I don’t want to be a fuckin thief, I want to help people, not steal from them. Pavel was so kind, and provided me with some codes and there will be 3 winners on this contest not just one as I planned.
The codes are for mySMS secure version. Now, Pavel will send me a video tutorial on how to use mySMS secure version to it’s full potential. Unfortunately , they are busy now, and they didn’t have time to polish the video. The video will be up on my blog as soon as I got my hands on it.

DIY – CARDBOARD DOCK FOR iPhone/iPod
The guys over at Geeky Gadgets posted complete instructions on how to make your own cardboard dock by downloading a template and following the simple directions. Even if this is not classy , i love when this things happens. ToneFXs – Customize Every System Sound of Your iPhone
The thing is , well all love and appreciate this wonderful technological jewel : the iPhone. But the truth is that on some levels you lack the ability to express yourself with it. Like how many of you wanted to customize the new text message sound. I bet 99.99% of you. Well it is doable but its just too much work that need to be done, in order to achieve that. And isn’t Apple products the ones that ” ..they just work ” ?
Well let me introduce you today to ToneFXs . This app is a great app that lets you customize your iPhone in the way you want to, make it personal. There are 2 parts in this story. First you need a jailbroken iPhone. Once you got a jailbroken iPhone, download and install ToneFXs via cydia onto your iPhone.Now you need to download the desktop app from Efiko Software ( both for Mac and PC ). Once you’ve completed this two steps, you are basically ready to go.
Plug you iPhone into your computer, lunch the program, browse computer for files, rename your files and send them to your iPhone. As simple as it can get. Once you sent all the sounds to your iPhone, the files will show up now in your option list. ToneFXs allows you to customize just about every system sound of the iPhone. One thing it can’t do is to assign different texts alrets sounds to every contact. I hope they will work on that, cause that would be badass.
The price is donation-based. You can give anywhere from $5 to $15 on the website, and you’ll receive a serial to plug into the app.
You do need to be aware of the caveat that Efiko puts on their site:
If you are familiar with all the past drama that started with iPhone 1.1, you should know we can’t guarantee this app will work in future iPhone and iTunes software because we don’t know what new lock down measures Apple may add to these upcoming iPhone updates that may prevent ToneFXs from working. Thus, we won’t offer refunds if ToneFXs does not work in future iPhone Software. Apple may decide to prevent this customization for whatever reason, however we doubt it as it’s a whole lot of fun and harmless. Regardless, we enjoy ToneFXs as much as you do and are committed to doing everything in our power to update ToneFXs to work with future iPhone and iTunes software updates just as we have done with iPhoneRingToneMaker.
NOTE :
You might get an error from time to time with various files, but dont worry its not you or your files. Just quit the app and relunch it. THat should fix it.

Click Browse Computer and search for audio files on you HDD.
Select an audio file that you like and click open.
1. Thats the slider. It is locked on 15 seconds. You can make it less than 15 seconds if you want to and you can position it where you want. Listen to the tune and decide which 15 seconds of it do you want as a sound on you iPhone and position the slider there.
2. Fade in and Fade out the sound. If you don’t want that just delect them
3. Preview to make sure that is what you want.
4. Send to your phone. Thats it. ToneFXs does it magic super fast and the sound its on your phone.
This is ToneFXs option meniu in your iPhone. Personalize your iPhone. Its about damn time.
MEWSEEK – SOULSEEK NATIVE P2P APP FOR iPhone/iPod
Have i told you how much i love my iPhone? Well today i love it even more. While i was browsing through Cydia , i found this app called MewSeek which is basically a native version of SoulSeek P2P client for iPhone or iPod touch. MewSeek formerly known as iSlsk in 1.1.x ) is a native P2P SoulSeek client that lets you search and download music or any other files straight to your iPhone/iPhone 3G or iPod Touch using either EDGE, Wi-Fi or 3G connection
