Just a quick heads-up that will bring some peace of mind to all of us: new version of Spirit will drop before iOS 4.1 which is scheduled for September. Remember that the new tool will jailbreak ALL iOS devices running iOS 4.x. You should save your SHSH blobs, which now can be saved for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G as well.
If you don’t know how to save your SHSH blobs, you can do it via Cydia or via TinyUmbrella. SHSH blobs for 4.0.1 or 4.0 are fine; there are no substantive differences except the bars .
