With the iPhone 5s Apple has introduced a delay to ‘slide to unlock’ functionality because they assume users will use the Touch ID to unlock their devices. However, if for some reason you don’t want to use the Touch ID and you just want to go back to the old ‘slide to unlock’ you should check out NoDelay64 – a new tweak available in Cydia ( via BigBoss repo ) that will remove the delay in displaying of the ‘slide to unlock text’ on the iPhone 5s. There are no options to configure, just install and you should notice that the ‘slide to unlock’ text is visible and functional as soon as you wake up your device.
