New Tweak Enables Live Photos on Older iPhones Running iOS 9

live_photo.0.0

Thanks to the jailbreaking community we can now enable SlideOver, SplitView, Picture-in-Picture and 3D Touch-like functionality on all iOS 9 devices. What’s left? Oh yes, Live Photos. And now you can have that too, for free thanks to a new tweak called EnableLivePhotos.

The tweak emulates the iPhone 6s specific feature almost perfectly, and once installed it’s ready to use. There are no settings to configure.

Once installed, launch Camera.app and while in Photo mode you’ll see a new Life Photos toggle button at the top of the screen that, just like on the iPhone 6s allows you to enable/disable Live Photos on demand.

When taking a Live Photo with the tweak installed, it will automatically record a few moments before and after the photo just like on the iPhone 6.

You can play the Live Photos from the Photos app and you can also set a Live Photo as a Lock Screen wallpaper.

Check out EnableLivePhotos in action below and download it for free from BigBoss repo.
