iPad Lacks The Cam, But The Interface For Such A Device Is Implemented In The SDK

We told you that iPhone SDK 3.2 is already available and it features a iPad simulator. We just got contacted by our good friend Casey, who sent us some interesting screenshots. It seems that even though, the iPad is lacking a camera, the interface for such a device is implemented in the SDK.

As you can see , the contacts in the phone book feature the dedicated box for attaching a picture. If you click on the edit button you will get a pop-up window that lets you choose if you want to take a picture or you want to choose an existing picture.

This means that the feature is implemented and at any time 3rd parties can produce cameras for the iPad. Might as well be the guys at FaceVision who got the first true HD webcam.
