Apple has pushed an update for iMovie for OS X which includes integration with Yosemite’s new Photos app, bundled with OS X 10.10.3 beta.

With the new version of iMovie, users can browse Moments, Collections, Favorites, and Albums in the new Photos app in order to add still images to a video project.

iMovie 10.0.7 also brings UI tweaks: Play/Pause, Prev/Next and Full Screen buttons are now displayed below the Viewer alongside a Record Voiceover button.

The update also brings support for Sony’s XAVC-S format and comes with stability and compatibility fixes.

iMovie is available for $15 for new users on the Mac App Store. If you already own iMovie, the update is free.
