Today, everybody has at least one email address and we all get tens or hundreds of emails every single day. But let’s face it, most of the emails we get daily are junk email – newsletters, press releases or those ‘funny’ pics and videos your grandma is sending everyone in your family.
Because we live in a mobile world, our iPads and especially our iPhones allow us to stay up to date with new emails anytime and anywhere. iOS 6 has introduced the new VIP feature in the default mail app, which lets you flag a contact as VIP and have their emails show up in the special VIP section in Mail as well as Notification Center. So you’ll never miss important emails. But what about the rest of them? Well… you can go and flag, move or ‘mark as read’ them one by one, or you can do them all at once, like a boss….
Jump over the break to check out how to move, flag or mark as read/unread multiple emails at once…
1. Load Mail.app on your iOS device
2. Select a preferred inbox
3. Tap ‘Edit’
4. Select any new email
5. Tap and hold the action you want to do ( mark, delete, flag ) and without letting go of the button, uncheck the selected email.
6. Not let go of the action button you’re holding, and your iPhone will execute the command ( mark, move ) to all your new ( unread ) emails.
