Pakage Is Now Open Source

Developers of Pakage, a faster alternative to Cydia, abandoned the project and , today they released the source code.

A few weeks ago, we told you about a faster and more powerful Cydia alternative: Pakage. Unfortunately for the devs, Pakage didn’t had much traction and the devs abandoned the project.Today, however, they released the entire source code for this application, which becomes open source so that anybody can improve and re-published it.

pakage

First RipDev decided to get out of this business and made Icy open source, now Pakage is abandoned. Don’t get me wrong, because we love open source, and there is no doubt that this will be the future, but this kind of actions makes you question this developers devotion.

Anyway, if you are interested in the source code, you can download find it here

thx Andrea
