A couple of days ago, Erica Sadun and Steven Troughton-Smith found a hidden API to enable AirPlay video support in third party apps, which makes iOS 4.2 run the way it suppose to.
If you are interested in the ‘behind the scenes geekness’ you can check out the post on TUAW, but the tweak was just submitted to BigBoss and it should be live in a couple of days ( if not tomorrow ). We don’t know if it will be a paid or free package, but we are very excited about AllPlay.
