In the video Apple’s SVP of Internet Services Eddy Cue says that, later this year they’ve got the best product pipeline in 25 years. In the last 25 years, Apple has released the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. So for Cue to make such a strong statement, it can only mean that we’re in for a treat. iOS 7.1 Code Suggests That Apple Is Working On Siri For Apple TV

New code found in iOS 7.1 and iOS 7.1.1, suggests that Apple is working on building support for Siri on the Apple TV.

New code found in iOS 7.1 and iOS 7.1.1, suggests that Apple is working on building support for Siri on the Apple TV. References to a new Apple TV were previously found in iOS 7 builds and the new strings suggest that voice input and feedback will be included on the next gen devices.

A couple of weeks ago Tim Cook revealed at the shareholder meeting that its set-top box Apple TV generated more than a billion dollar in revenues for the first time in a fiscal year, selling more than 10 million units.

The fourth generation of Apple TV could be introduced this spring; we layed out our concept of an Apple TV touch a couple of weeks ago. But it doesn’t actually take a full blown set-top box to invade the living room as Google’s widely successful dongle Chromecast which debuted last week in Europe has proved.

You Can Now Set Up Your Apple TV By Tapping It With Your iPhone or iPad

Users that have a third-generation Apple TV running the 6.0 software can use an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 7 to automatically transfer network settings, Apple ID information, and language preferences to the Apple TV, allowing for faster setup. The information exchange is done via Bluetooth by touching the iOS device to the Apple TV, taking advantage of the Bluetooth LE built into all Apple devices after the iPhone 4S.

Apple has updated Apple TV to 6.0 to include some of the features found in iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1

Apple has updated Apple TV to 6.0 to include some of the features found in iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1, including iTunes Radio, iCloud photo streams, podcasts, and AirPlay from iCloud, which allows users to play content on any other Apple TV through streaming. Updating the Apple TV is done OTA ( over-the-air ) by going to Settings> General> Software Update
