It has been rumored for a couple of years now that Siri will come to Mac. With macOS Sierra, Apple’s personal assistant is available on Macs for the first time.

Siri can be triggered through an icon in the dock, icon in the menu bar or a user-specified keyboard command. One thing Apple didn’t include here is a way to trigger Siri by voice. For example “Hey Siri”. Turns out that, with a bit of ingenuity, you can easily enable that in macOS Sierra.

One of iPhone 6s‘ feature is that now users can trigger Siri by simply saying Hey Siri, and thanks to the new M9 motion coprocessor the functionality works even when the device is not plugged in without having a massive impact on the battery.

You might ask yourself, but what about there’s a bunch of people in the room and someone summons Siri, will your phone answer right away? No, because the feature relies on individualized voice recognition. That means that Siri will only be triggered by your voice.

The good doctor, Sherif Hashim, found a new iOS 7.1.1 bug that grants full access to the contact list while the phone is locked. iOS 7.1.1 passcode lock bypass with full access to the contacts list, very easy, and with additional single manipulation (i m not showing that) you can access all the contacts details, edit/copy/share/message/email them, anyway, keep secure and disable Siri on lock screen till the next iOS update

New code found in iOS 7.1 and iOS 7.1.1, suggests that Apple is working on building support for Siri on the Apple TV.

New code found in iOS 7.1 and iOS 7.1.1, suggests that Apple is working on building support for Siri on the Apple TV.  References to a new Apple TV were previously found in iOS 7 builds and the new strings suggest that voice input and feedback will be included on the next gen devices.

To use GooglePlex you don’t need to jailbreak your device or download anything and it only takes a couple of minutes to set it up.
