As you may well be aware, there are very few “good” twitter clients made specifically for iPad. Sitting here right now, I can think of maybe 5 clients that are notable enough to even consider worthy of a mention. They are of corse not going to be listed, as they are now irrelevant. Pull them from the store, they really don’t matter anymore.
That’s right ladies and gentleman, Tweetbot for iPad… Is finally here.
If you have not had the opportunity to check it out yet, you are in for a treat. First off, it contains all things that made Tweetbot for iPhone so awesome. From the sleek design, to the handy gestures, to the nifty little touches like the “bot” sound effects found in all of the Tapbots. What it adds is a customized version of the UI that “just works”. The fluidity of movement of the animations and design elements are by far the best in all of iOS, bar none.
I could go on and on, but really, just go buy it. It’s worth triple the price they are asking, a measly $2.99. Don’t walk, RUN to the app store and get it.
