How To Patch The SSL Bug Without Updating To iOS 7.0.6

patch the iOS SSL bug without updating to iOS 7.0.6

sslpatch-cydia-FSMdotCOMLast week, Apple released iOS 7.0.6 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, a minor update that includes a patch for SSL connection verification. The update is highly recommended for all users and evasi0n7 was update to support iOS 7.0.6. But the process of updating your device and re-jailbreaking it and re-install everything can be a pain in the ass. So, Ryan Petrich released a Cydia package that contains the SSL patch for iOS 6.0 to iOS 7.0.5.  The patch is available for free on Cydia via BigBoss repo and once installed, use Mobile Safari to navigate to http://www.gotofail.com to make sure the patch is working ( see screenshot above )
