Since this is a wordpress blog, i was very happy when i stumbled upon some info about the upcoming wordpress 1.2 from iPhone.

The WordPress community has been hard at work on the next release of WordPress for iPhone, and it will contain a ton of new features including:

  • Landscape mode with the extra wide keyboard
  • Link creation help
  • Support for editing and creating Pages
  • Comment moderation
  • Asynchronous publishing
  • Photo resizing options

As with the previous versions, WordPress for iPhone 1.2 will be free. As soon as the beta test is complete and all bugs have been successfully squashed, the new version will be available via the App Store

What is Crackulous?

Ever wondered how some crackers are able to crack so many applications so quickly? The secret is a new revolutionary tool called Crackulous.

Crackulous is the successor to my very popular script xCrack. xCrack was created to allow anyone, anywhere to crack applications from Apple’s AppStore. All you needed to do was buy the app, run xCrack, and then you could share the app with the community. It took out all the tedious work of cracking an application manually. This saves a significant amount of time, especially for those who crack many applications.

Crackulous takes the concept of xCrack, and takes it to the next level. By turning it into an iPhone application, and adding a full GUI, cracking is now easier than ever! Now people who aren’t technical at all are able to crack their applications and share them with the community! Crackulous is the most powerful cracking application ever created for the iPhone cracking community.

” The Official Instrument of Zelda comes to the iPhone ” – MacLife

Ocarina is the first true musical instrument created for the iPhone. Both experts and beginners will be amazed by this innovative player. Ocarina is sensitive to your breath, touch and movements, making it even more versatile than the original. Unlike other musical applications, there are no pre-compiled riffs so musicians will find unlimited opportunities for self-expression. A new piece of software could transform the iPhone into a much more adept gaming device.

The new software is a tool called Onyx Online and is free. Onyx Online was developed by Steve Demeter, the same developer who created the popular and profitable Trism for the iPhone. Game makers and developers who choose to embed Onyx in their creation get a host of social networking features already added. Just a few of which include leaderboards, achievements and forums. What’s more is that iPhone owners playing Onyx Online embedded games would be able to view each other’s profiles, compare scores and see what games everyone else is playing. Onyx Online allows players to find each other and even challenge each other to duels! Demeter explains:

VoIPover3G iPhone APP

VoIPover3G (that’s Voice Over IP Over 3G) is what I think the hottest application that came out this weekend, and let me tell you right now, like all hot apps, it is only available in Cydia – that should give you yet another reason to jailbreak if you still haven’t done so.

So what does this bad boy do? This MobileSubstrate library can trick any application into thinking that it is on wifi even though it is on a cellular data connection. There are a lot of possible uses for that, but for me the main use is being able to use VoIP programs like Fring over 3G. So no more hack necessary to use Fring over Edge or 3G.

By default, VoIPover3G is configured to to trick only the App Store and Fring but you can edit the setting, but in order to do so, you’ll have to know your way around SSH

As mentioned above, VoIPover3G is available in Cydia. If you instal it, don’t look for the icon on your springboard as it doesn’t have an icon. Configuration settings are explained in the “more info” link of the app.
