First Look: IM+ 3.4 with Speech Recognition for iPhone

SHAPE Services has submitted version 3.4 of their popular IM client to Apple’s App Store for approval. This new version brings in Speech Recognition feature for instant messaging and tweets (first program on the iPhone to do so) to all versions of iPhone (1st Gen, 3G and 3GS), animated emoticons and several bug fixes.

New features in IM+ 3.4:

  • Support for Speech Recognition in tweets and instant messaging.
  • Animated Emotions (also known as Smiley’s)
  • Bug fixes (The black bar on top in landscape mode has been fixed)
