HOW TO: Get Apple’s iMessage on Your Android Phone [video]

an app created precisely for Android, pixel-perfect design and deep system integration allows for a clean and intuitive messaging experience

AirMessage allows you to use Apple’s iMessage on your Android phone. There’s no hacking involved and the whole process is super simple.

Just install the AirMessage app from Google Play on your phone and the AirMessage server companion app.

However, there’s a catch. There might be a minimum invenstment required to get AirMessage up and running. You need a Mac that runs the AirMessage server companion app. If you already own a Mac, you’re good to go.

That’s not all bad news. You don’t need the latest and gratest Mac. Just any Mac that runs OS X 10.10 Yosemite or higher ( yeah, back then it was OS X not macOS ). Besides, when it comes to iMessage on Android you do want to own the server.

Also, worst comes to worst, you can also use the Mac as a Plex server for example. So it’s not such a bad investment.

Download AirMessage app from Google Play. Download AirMessage server. Read the full installation guide.

If you’re more of a visual type of person, check out the videos below to guide you through the installation process and better understand how AirMessage works.
