Decoded: Jay-Z’s Memoir Book Will Also Be Available As An iPhone/iPad App

Jay-Z teamed up with The Source editor Dream Hampton on the book and it’s said to bring forth a “first-person memoir with detailed discussions of his most famous and provocative lyrics.”

Jay-Z teamed up with The Source editor Dream Hampton on the book and it’s said to bring forth a “first-person memoir with detailed discussions of his most famous and provocative lyrics.”

Over its 336 pages, Decoded will trace Jay-Z’s life from his childhood in Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects to his years as a teen drug dealer to becoming a hip-hop superstar. The hardcover, illustrated book will also explore Jay-Z’s creative process.

Hip-hop educational and equally entertaining, the book will be offered in a hardcover version through publisher Spiegel & Grau and in digital form via an eBook and iPhone/iPad app. A release is set for November 16th through finer booksellers, including Amazon, which is now taking pre-orders for the special price of $21 USD.
