Apple unveiled today its second generation smartwatch and the biggest changes are a new water-resistant shell which makes it waterproof and the addition of a GPS chip which allows the device to perform mapping on its own.
Theres also a new “S2” dual-core processor witch is 50% faster than its predecessor with 2x the graphics performance thanks to the new GPU, and the new display is 50% brighter.
Pre-orders start on September 9th with the aluminum sport version for eh Series 2 Apple watch starting at $369. The first gen Apple Watch will start at $269.
