Apple Releases iOS 9.1 With Over 150 New Emoji and Smarter Live Photos

Alongside OS X 10.11.1, Apple has also released iOS 9.1 today – the first major update to iOS 9 which was released to the public in mid-September.

The new iOS update brings the usual bug fixes and performance improvements, 150 new emoji will full support for Unicode 7 and 8 and a smart Live Photos implementation. On the iPhone 6s, Live photos will know when you raise or lower your phone so it will stop recording the video for the Live Photo.
