HOW TO: Display App Names Instead Of Cryptic Names in iFile

When looking for an app on /var/mobile/Applications/ via iFile, instead of app names you will find that each app name is a long string of letters. Luckily, iFile offers an easy way to fix this.

Jump over the break to learn how to show the names of your apps in iFiles…

1. At the bottom of iFile tap on the ‘gear’ button to access iFile’s preferences

ifile-app-names-3-FSMdotCOM3. And turn on ‘Application Names’

4. Enjoy
