Tempest: Bob Dylan Uses iPhone App To Promote The New Album

Bob Dylan has decided to embrace the iPhone and use a geolocation app to promote his new album, Tempest.

Despite being somewhat against modern technology and complaining to Rolling Stone that new techniques have ruined music, causing no one to produce a decent album in the past 20 years, Bob Dylan has decided to embrace the iPhone and use a geolocation app to promote his new album, Tempest.

Named Sound Graffiti, the app allows fans to unlock free songs from the album when they travel to specific locations. Surprisingly this isn’t the first time the classic rock musician has dabbled with tech either, having launched a Facebook app in 2007 to promote his Dylan’s Greatest Songs album.

You can download the app by heading to www.listentobobdylan.com ( from your iPhone )
