Apple Confirms WWDC 2013 Keynote For Monday, June 10

Apple will start WWDC 2013 with their presentation that will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

Apple will start WWDC 2013 with their presentation that will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. We already know that Apple will reveal iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 and we also expect that they will show off upgraded MacBooks featuring Intel’s new Haswell processors. This year’s WWDC will take place June 10 through 14 in San Francisco. Apple To Kick Off WWDC 2013 On June 10

As in previous years, the five-day conference will be held at San Francisco’s Moscone West. The event will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by more than 1,000 Apple engineers.

iOS 6 Brings Siri To The iPad

Apple announced that as part of iOS 6, Siri will be available on the iPad in addition to the iPhone.

Apple announced that as part of iOS 6, Siri will be available on the iPad in addition to the iPhone. It’s part of a larger update to Siri, allowing the voice-controlled app to now do everything from launch apps to report the batting average of your favorite baseball players. Apple’s Scott Forstall mentioned that Siri was coming to “the new iPad,” so it sounds like older iPad owners might need to upgrade to get all the new features.

The service is now ( in iOS 6 ) able to answer a variety of sports related questions, from scores and stats to game times, and it’s added both Yelp and Rotten Tomatoes to its bag of tricks for dining and movie recommendations.

iCloud Showing Up In iOS 4’s App Store

At least a portion of the new functionality is now available by opening up the “Purchased” tab in iOS 4’s App Store, revealing a history of apps that have been downloaded with your account, including those not currently on your device.

Those not presently installed will feature a cloud icon, making it possible to re-download them onto the handset.
