Still looking for and iPhone 5S? Specifically for a gold iPhone 5S? Rather than calling every single Apple Store, Best Buy, Walmart, and carrier store in your area, you should check out  iPhone Check , an web app that scrapes data from store.apple.com for the most up-to-date info on local pick-up options. All you have to do is input your zip code, the color of the iPhone 5S, carrier ( or unlocked ) and click submit. Enjoy and good luck!

HOW TO: Use YTLive Web App To Watch YouTube Live Streams On iOS Devices

ytlive is a nifty little web app that lets you watch youtube live stream on iOS devices

Watching YouTube on an iOS device can be a pleasant experience, unless you’re trying to view the service’s Live content. YouTube Live — its answer to Ustream, Livestream, and other streaming video services — was recently launched after months of limited trials. Wonderful news, of course, but there is just one catch: it uses Flash to provide the streaming instead of HTML5. At first, this meant iOS users were left uninvited to the party, but a savvy developer sensed the coming frustration and built YTLive, a web app enabling YouTube Live streams on Safari. Let’s see how to use it.

Music Boxel: Naked-Eye 3D Display And Web Socket Based Multi User Interaction [video]

The latest installation/project by Aircord, building on their 3D projected screens, includes a Naked-eye 3D Display with Web Socket based multi user interaction.

Back in July 2010, we showed you how, using a custom app and crystallography, Aircord Labs from Japan took iPad’s display into the third dimension. The latest installation/project by Aircord, building on their 3D projected screens, includes a Naked-eye 3D Display with Web Socket based multi user interaction. The setup works around allowing multiple users to scan QRcode, be redirected to a website accessible via mobile Safari browser and interacting simultaneously with a 3d display by adding a voxel to make a trigger on a timeline of virtual music box.

Display/Audio-Visual Program by aircord inc. made with : openFrameworks, SuperCollider
Server/Mobile Interface by Uniba Inc. made with : node.js, CSS3/HTML5

Even tho YouTube always had a native app on the iPhone,Google had to optimized YouTube for the iPhone and Android users. Do not expect huge changes, because Google only changed the layout and some CSS. It ‘provides a top menu through which you have direct access to “home”, and videos, to your account. In addition to a search box in ajax.

Google Fast Flip: Read News Faster On Your iPhone and iTouch

You might be familiar with a conference TechCrunch50 that is going on this days. TechCrunch50 is a annual conference hosted by TechCrunch and Jason Calacanis. Its aim was to find the best Web 2.0 start-ups and launch them in front of the industry’s most influential venture capitalists, companies and press.

One of the services presented this year at the conference was Google Fast Flip: Google’s visual way to browse news. The beautiful part of this service, aside of being ( so it seems to me ) a great service, is that there is also an iPhone-optimized interface for Google Fast Flip.
