Activator, created by Ryan Petrich, is one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks available on Cydia. Not only that but, Activator is also part of the core functionality of many other Cydia tweaks and add-ons. In addition to a comprehensive list of actions that Activator offers by default, Reddit user sarcasmsiempre figured out a way to create a navigation menu for activator:

Personally, I use my iPhone for turn-by-turn directions whenever I’m driving somewhere unfamiliar. Whenever I’m driving back from these unfamiliar places, I’m going to one of two places: my college or my house. So I figured: why not make an Activator menu that gives me instant access to those locations in Maps?

Waze Teams Up With Universal Pictures To Let Celebrity Voices Give You Driving Directions [video]

Waze wants to give us what we really want, which is, quite naturally, driving directions delivered with the gravitas only Hollywood actors can bring.

Waze wants to give us what we really want, which is, quite naturally, driving directions delivered with the gravitas only Hollywood actors can bring. To that end, the social navigation company has partnered up with Universal Pictures to deliver some cross-promotional synergy that’ll have actors in forthcoming films acting as your virtual co-pilot. The first such star of the silver screen is comedian Kevin Hart (promoting the aptly titled film Ride Along), and you can get a taste of what Waze will be like with Hart telling you where to go in the video after the break.

TomTom Adds Two New ‘Simpsons’ Voice Guidance Characters: Mr. Burns and Marge Simpson

Two more voices from the ever-popular animated program The Simpsons have now been added by GPS manufacturer, TomTom, ensuring that a long commute with be filled with some of your other favorite characters. With Homer already the most downloaded GPS app ever, they’ve now set their sights on Mr. Burns and Marge. Barking things like, “take the third right, do it, driving monkey” and “exit right ahead. Google Maps Navigation: Attack Of The Droids

a demonstration of Google Maps Navigation (Beta), an internet-connected GPS navigation system that provides turn-by-turn voice guidance as a free feature of Google Maps on Android 2.0 phones.

Remember the iDon’t Motorola Droid ad? Yeah, that was a little bit off, and they didn’t take in consideration jailbroken devices. But hey, there’s nothing wrong a little bit of competition for Apple. In fact , personally, i love Verizon for creating that ads. Apple should step up their game like asap. The top of the hill starts to be populated… with droids.
