Back in 1989, Simpsons creator Matt Groening was approached by Apple to design a brochure educating college students on how to use a Mac. The illustrations entitled “Who Needs a Computer Anyway?” were published as a 21-page document that reads more like a comic strip. With simple demonstrations on how to “cut and paste”, this retro Apple brochure is an awesome look at how far technology and Groening’s artist prowess have come.

Electronic Arts is about to release “The Simpsons Arcade” in AppStore a game where the controls are insured by a virtual pad and two action buttons. The game reminds me of the “Double Dragon” game from back in the days, and it seems cool. Since the new season of Simpsons sucks, maybe this will convince you to still be a fan.
