Instinctiv Shuffle for iPhone and iPod Touch

New day, new app in Cydia. It’s called Instinctiv Shuffle. Now i wasn’t sure what this app does exactly, so i sent a mail to the devs. The devs did a wonderful job with the reply. Not only it was a fast reply , they also provided me with a nice description of the app and some screenshots. So this post will be a little bit different just to spice things up.I will post the mail i sent them and the reply i got from them.

I just found smart shuffle on cydia! What does it do exactly? im guessing its somehow a AI like app that learns from your skipped songs and it will ” dictate ” to the built in ipod not to play them so often.

Can u confirm this and maybe provide me with more info? I would like to create a blog post about it

You’re exactly right: Instinctiv shuffle analyzes what songs you’re skipping and decides what songs to play next.  It integrates beautifully with the iPod — I’ve attached screenshots — by replacing the default random shuffle.  We figure out what you’re in the mood for right now, what songs you generally like and don’t like and what songs you individually think are similar to other songs in your library — it’s pretty cool, and all you have to do is do what you always do: listen to the songs you want to hear and skip the ones you aren’t in the mood for.  Our users go from skipping every 1.6 songs with random shuffle to every 31 songs with Instinctiv!  Let me know what else we can tell you, and thanks for the write up! ~ PB

CRACK iRealSMS 2.0.6

METHOD 1 tested by Funky Space Monkey dot COM readers and it’s working

HOW TO APPLY CRACK? ( explanation by kmichalec )

  • I originally had the Xsellize cracked version 2.0 installed.
  • When I decided I was going to try this, first thing I did, was uninstall that xsellize one.
  • Then, I went and installed the standard, legit version 2.0.6.2 through Cydia.
  • But, again, the key is, once it’s done installing, and sitting at the RESTART SPRINGBOARD prompt, DO NOT RESTART IT YET!!
  • Then, you WinSCP into the phone.
  • Make sure you have the cracked file uncompressed somewhere on your PC.
  • Using WinSCP, copy over the files in the folders in the Applications and Library folders to the same folders on the iPhone. If you do this correctly, it will say that they already exist, and do you want to overwrite them. Say YES ALL.
  • Next, open up the .SH file, so that it opens in a notepad type viewer in WinSCP.
  • I only highlighted each chmod line, as the others just seem to be a copy from your PC to your iPhone, and you already copied the files manually in step 7. Highlight the first CHMOD line, and copy it.
  • Switch back to the right hand window in WinSCP (the iPhone side), and right click on any folder, select Custom Commands and then Execute.
  • Once you have the execute box up, paste in the line you copied from step 9 and hit run.
  • Repeat for second CHMOD line in the .SH file.
  • Once you have run both, you should be done. Now you can hit RESTART SPRINGBOARD on your phone, and it should be working.

Hope this helps. This is exactly how I did it, and I have a full working copy. In fact, even if you installed the 2.0.6.2 version and accidentally hit RESTART SPRINGBOARD before you do the copy and CHMOD, you should be ok. I accidentally did that too. I just completely uninstalled the app through Cydia, and then WinSCP’ed into the phone, and manually deleted any leftover iREalSMS folder still left after the deinstall. Once that was done, I just reinstalled the app through Cydia again, but this time, stopped before RESTART SPRINGBOARD. Then, just follow the directions above.




METHOD 2

  • Install 2.0.6 from cydia ( latest ) .
  • Download this and this ( alt. link )
  • SSH every file to the corresponding directory.
  • SET 4755 permissions to iRealSMS_ ( /Applications/iRealSMS ).
  • SET 0755 to iRealSMS.dylib.  ( /Library/MobileSubstrate/dynamiclibraries ).

METHOD 3 tested by yours truly  and it’s working ( quick reply too )

  • add xsellize source in cydia ( if you didnt already do that ).
  • install iRealSMS 2.0.6 from xsellize.
  • click purchase and then activate untill it asks you for a key code
  • enter key : 6D88Op5Wxup ( please note that there are no 0 (zero) in this key and that it is case-sensitive ; meaning that you need to type the code exactly as you see it there ).
  • once it says that the key is valid and your activated, reboot iphone and voila.

VOICE SEARCH in GOOGLE MOBILE APP – DOES IT WORK?

Of course you all know by now that the new Google Mobile app for iPhone and iPod touch was released. And it’s a great app , no doubt in my mind. But my main concern ( before this was released ) was if it will work properly for the rest of us. What do i mean by the rest of us? Well…. people whom live abroad, non north americans.

And the answer is not no, but more like , hmmm not really. Ok let me expand this matter. Ive updated the app, checked out the setting, everything was great so i was excited to give this baby a tryout. Because i was , like all of you out there, anxious to test this bad boy.

How many voice based searches will be needed to see if this app works with non north american accent? I said to myself 5 ; If it gets 3 out of 5 this app rocks. Well guess what? It got 2 out of 5… so its pretty decent but not really out there for us.

This is what ive searched for :

  • how tall is mount Everest : ( i actually did this twice ) i got – elcon mall denver and fucking hulk hogan . now how can i get hulk hogan when im asking about mount Everest
  • 22 degrees in Fahrenheit : guess what. i got this one right.
  • how far is paris from barcelona : i got – cole porter paris combo ( at least it got “paris” in the result )
  • how far is barcelona from paris : i got – hope ( well there is hope that one day this will work for me , or that my accent will go north american )
  • funky space monkey : YES!  got it right, and my blog was there on top being the king

Now, let me ask you something : did u listen to the sounds it makes when its processing your voice search? It sounds like a retarded alien. Just voice-search for something than when the app is processing your voice, put the phone to your ear and listen.

MySMS – THE WAY iPhone SMS APP SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINCE DAY ONE

Glorious day for me and my precious iPhone. The thing is : although i just love my iPhone , some things need to be fixed in it. Not major things , but still there are some things that everybody wished they act different.

For example in the SMS app. SMS is a thing that is in a frequent use on every cell phone. And everybody knows what lacks this app. But today , while browsing Cydia, i found this amazing app that makes SMS app the way that it should have been since day 1. You’re reading this Apple? …. SINCE DAY ONE

It’s called MySMS and IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY FUNKY SPACE MONKEY . Ok, what this app can do?
