Qik for iPhone: Available In The AppStore But Can’t Live Stream

Qik for the iPhone is finally available in the appstore . Everybody had it including Blackberry and Android phones but iPhone users had to wait for the release of iPhone 3Gs.

Qik for the iPhone is finally available in the appstore . Everybody had it including Blackberry and Android phones but iPhone users had to wait for the release of iPhone 3Gs.

So far Qik was only available for jailbroken iPhones and there even was a twitter petition signed by 962 people that requested this app. Dont if that petition was influential , but Apple and AT&T decided that we can have the app. WOW, thank you!!!!

There is only one BIG catch: Qik for iPhone can’t stream live videos. So, thanks for nothing i guess… Anyway, if you still want to try the app, you can find in the appstore and it’s free.

Qik is pretty much ready for iPhone 3Gs. This Harold ( where’s Kumar?!?! ) dude got his Ad Hoc version from Qik and had to share it. So watch the video below.

But as you know, Qik has been denied by Apple and AT&T for too long. Do you want to stream live video from your iPhone?

Yeah you and everyone else so LET THEM KNOW. Sign this Twitition and lets move past the excuses and into the future of mobile broadcasting!

I would suggest you watch the whole video, because you’re gonna see some impressive stuff towards the end.

After you watched the 1st video, you can watch the second one as well, and you will understand how they recorded that with an iPhone.
