Planetbeing On The iOS 7 Jailbreak: “May Have All The Pieces At This Point”

Planetbeing has tweeted a few hours ago to inform people that the evaders team is indeed ( still ) working on an iOS 7 jailbreak and that they might just have all the pieces of the puzzle.

Planetbeing has tweeted a few hours ago to inform people that the evaders team is indeed ( still ) working on an iOS 7 jailbreak and that they might just have all the pieces of the puzzle. Nothing is certain yet, and of course there’s no ETA for a release yet. One thing is for sure, the current version of iOS 7 ( iOS 7.0.2 ) is not affecting in any way the upcoming jailbreak, and users can update their devices – even iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C users. It goes without saying that if you’re currently jailbroken, avoid 7.x.x. (Same if you’re on iOS5 and use redsn0w’s iOS5 re-restore feature). However, stay away from the imminent iOS 7.0.3 drop.

Evad3rs Have Now Started To Test Their Jailbreak Exploits on iOS 7

With iOS 7 officially announced for September 18th and the GM released today, PlanetBeing has announced that evad3rs have now started to actively look at iOS 7 and identifying which of the existing exploits that they have still work.

GreenPois0n Absinthe was built upon pod2g’s Corona untether jailbreak to create the first public jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on for the 5.0.1 firmware. Planetbeing Got Unsigned Code Running On iPhone 4S. One Step Closer To The A5 Jailbreak

First the dream team announced that they are out of Apple’s sandbox. Today, planetbeing said that he finally got unsigned code running of his iPhone 4S with ‘the stuff’ that will go into the new jailbreak. Saurik Joins The iPhone 4S/iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak Dream Team

About a week ago, we told you that pod2g has joined forces with planetbeing, MuscleNerd and p0sixninja and they are all working together now to find a way to release the iPhone 4S/iPad 2 jailbreak. Well it turns out this jailbreak is truly going to be a team effort, and according to MuscleNerd saurik made some major contributions yesterday and they’ve moved forward. HOW TO: Unlock iPhone 3G/3Gs And iPhone 4 With Ultrasn0w

YES! iPhone 4 unlock is finally here. The iPhone DevTeam just released their new version of ultrasn0w which will unlock your iPhone 3G/3Gs and iPhone 4.

NOTE:

T-Mobile USA uses different 3G freq than Apple “says” it supports. So you won’t get 3G , just EDGE.
Most T-Mobile users in the USA using the iphone4 after tonight will need to disable 3G mode in Settings->General->Network
For those who hand-cut your T-Mobile SIMs and still see “No SIM”, just be patient. Reposition it in the tray & try again

NOTE: probably most of you will need to convert their SIM into a microSIM. Nothing to fear about. Read about microSIMs here, and here’s a great tutorial on how to do it.
