Wallgram Lets You Create Your Own iOS 7 Parallax Wallpapers

The technique was made popular by the movie The Kid Stays In The Picture, and Apple also added the parallax effect in iOS 7 – adding a sense of depth to your iOS device’s screen. If you want to create your own parallax wallpapers for iOS 7, but you’re not comfortable using the technique above, you should take a look at Wallgram from Capable Bits.  The app allows you to search Instagram for the perfect wallpaper photo and converts it into a parallax-ready wallpaper.  There are no settings to configure and the photos are saved into your Camera Roll.

With iOS 7 Apple has introduced a cool new 3D parallax wallpaper effect ( see it in action in the pic above ). Although this isn’t nothing more than eye-candy that will decrease your battery life ( you can disable it by toggling on the “Reduce Motion” option in the Accessibility menu ), it still looks cool for about 5 seconds and you should have some fun with it.
