There are sneaker releases, and then there was the Nike MAG launch in 2011. Without as much as a hint, Nike produced Marty McFly’s fictional high-top from Back to the Future II and auctioned off 1,500 pairs on eBay, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. In the end, sneaker fans, film aficionados and celebrities spent nearly $6 million to claim a piece of history. However, there was one problem with the release: the futuristic kicks lacked their key feature. But it seems that Nike will try to fix this problem, and bring the iconic Power Laces in 2015.

The Nike SB pros (Sean Malto, Paul Rodriguez, Alex Olson, Brain Anderson, Cory Kennedy, Lance Mountain, Omar Salazar, Shane O’Neill, Stefan Janoski, Theotis Beasley) are all part of the app and ready to interact with the users.
