In other news, Winamp is closing shop after 15 years. Some of you have no idea what Winamp is ( even if back in March they released a Mac version ), some of you forgot about it, and for some of you this post is just a reminder to delete/uninstall the damn thing… “Winamp, it really whips the llama’s ass!”. Well, my fellow Mac users fear no more. It’s not like anyone still uses Winamp these days, but if you hate iTunes and you’re looking for that perfect music player, you should really check out VOX. Winamp, it really whips the llama’s ass! The grandaddy of desktop music players has finally been released for Mac. It’s like you went to sleep and woke up in 1999. It comes packed with all the things you used to love and forgot about, like skins and plugins, but it also adds wireless and wired sync with Android phones (!!!) and one-click music and playlist import from iTunes and Mac desktop.
