Jailbreakers should remember Zephyr, a popular jailbreak tweak that added multitasking gestures for iPhone and iPod touch. From swiping up to show the multitasking switcher or quickly swiping to a different app, Zephyr is all you need to quickly and easily control multitasking. MT Gestures: Enable Multitasking Gestures On iPhone 4 And iPod Touch 4G Running iOS 4.3.1

New day, new tweak in Cydia: MT Gestures. Apple added multitasking gestures in 4.3 beta 1 but disabled them in every following release after. This package will give you back those gestures. Just enable in winterboard and a new toggle will appear in the settings app. Supports iPod Touch 4 and iPhone 4. Check out the this video demo of multitasking gestures running on an iPhone.

Today, Apple dropped for developers and one cool new feature is ‘multitasking gestures’ for the iPad. Each of the new gestures can be done with either four or five fingers—your choice—and they all work smoothly.

Today, Apple dropped iOS 4.3 beta 1 for developers and one cool new feature is ‘multitasking gestures’ for the iPad. Each of the new gestures can be done with either four or five fingers—your choice—and they all work smoothly. A pinch brings you to the Home Screen, a swipe up or down reveals and hides the multitasking bar, and swipes left or right allow you to switch between apps.
