Transparent iPhone 4 Case Mod

An enterprising iPhone user got his hands on a clear case mod kit for the iPhone 4, put it together and posted the fantastic results online.

In the past, we showed you a great metallic mod for your iPhone 4, a PwnApple metallic mod, and even though Apple is trying to put iPhone modders on lockdown with Pentalobular screws, today we got an even better mod.  An enterprising iPhone user got his hands on a clear case mod kit for the iPhone 4, (Google translation) put it together and posted the fantastic results online.

Later edit: we were so blown away about this mod, that we forgot to tell you two things:

1. if anybody knows where to get something like this drop us an email ASAP

2. if you get your hands on this mod, we would suggest you don’t change your front glass too, just the back. Chances are it will mess up your proximity sensor. For instance, on the white front glass mod, you would have to take a black marker and darken *that* area.

See more pics after the jump…

Custom Made Titanium Casing For iPhone 3Gs [video]

What happens if you are unsatisfied with the original plastic shell on your iPhone? Well, you check out some concepts, you open CAD, start designing, take some huge risks, and you end up with this stunning titanium iPhone.

What happens if you are unsatisfied with the original plastic shell on your iPhone? Well, you check out some concepts, fire up CAD, start designing, take some huge risks, and you end up with this stunning titanium iPhone.

Basically I designed a new back cover for the 3GS. I had the original cover measured digitally, and I then started to draw the new cover in CAD. It’s made out of a special titanium alloy that is RF transparent. I had tried aluminum but that was a complete disaster.

HowTo: Save Cycorder, Videorecorder3G or YouTube Videos in Photos.app, Playback and Send Them Via Email. ( iPhone EDGE/3G )

VideoMover is a SBSettings toggle that, when enabled, will automatically rename and move every video shot with Save Cycorder, Videorecorder3G or downloaded from YouTube to your iPhone’s Photos.app so you can playback and/or copy-paste them into your email and send them away.

VideoMover is a SBSettings toggle that, when enabled, will automatically rename and move every video shot with Cycorder, Videorecorder3G or downloaded from YouTube to your iPhone’s Photos.app so you can playback and/or copy-paste them into your email and send them away. You cant trim the movie using this toggle, but right now you really cant complain about this feature. Maybe, just maybe, the toggle will be updated and we will get this feature in the future. Works like a charm on iPhone 3G, but I’m not sure if it works on EDGE. However, if you own an iPhone EDGE , you shouldn’t have any problems …

HowTo: Change iPhone’s Fonts Color To ANY Color You Want

Everybody knows that im not such a big fan of themes. But most of you guys out there love this eye candy, and who can blame you? The thing is that sometime , depending on the theme, some default iPhone/iTouch elements can blend too well, and you might not be able to read what it should be written there (i.e the clock ).

The thing is that sometime , depending on the theme, some default iPhone/iTouch elements can blend too well, and you might not be able to read what it should be written there (i.e the clock ).

There is a simple fix for that, and it involves a text editor, SSH and hex values. Woahhh, dont back off now WTF?!?! this is really really easy, you will see… The beauty of this mod can be turned ON or OFF via Winterboard.
