Back to the Future: Nike Designer Says Power Laces Will Arrive in 2015

There are sneaker releases, and then there was the Nike MAG launch in 2011. Without as much as a hint, Nike produced Marty McFly’s fictional high-top from Back to the Future II and auctioned off 1,500 pairs on eBay, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. In the end, sneaker fans, film aficionados and celebrities spent nearly $6 million to claim a piece of history. However, there was one problem with the release: the futuristic kicks lacked their key feature. But it seems that Nike will try to fix this problem, and bring the iconic Power Laces in 2015.

Back To The Future: The Game Coming To The iPad [video]

Today, Telltale Games announced its upcoming Back to the Future episodic game series which will include the original movie likenesses of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Lloyd himself will voice Doc Brown in the game’s five monthly episodes.

About a month ago, we told you about the official ‘Back To The Future’ Flux Capacitor app for the iPhone/iPad which is probably as useless as any of the fart apps back in the days, but still… its iconic for all 80’s and early 90’s babies. Today, Telltale Games announced its upcoming Back to the Future episodic game series which will include the original movie likenesses of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Lloyd himself will voice Doc Brown in the game’s five monthly episodes.
