Eclectic Method recently released a new video, and there’s just one question: Can you handle this much New York invading your senses?

Eclectic Method recently released a new video, and there’s just one question: Can you handle this much New York invading your senses? You’re going to have to try.

Let’s break down how much New York we’re dealing with here. The video consists of panning shots of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, with scenic shots of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn from films by Oliver Stone, Martin Scorcese and Woody Allen shown on an iPad. So, you’re seeing New York while you’re seeing New York. Then, with the help of J-Live, some iconic music videos from Jay-Z and the Beastie Boys are also shown, and some samples of the words “New York” are also being used throughout the video. We’re up to four levels of New York right now. Also, J-Live is from New York. So, five.

Apple To Hold Media Event This Month. To Be Focused On Publishing And iBooks

TC is reporting that Apple will be holding a product event later this month in New York, which will focus on publishing and eBooks (sold through Apple’s iBooks platform) rather than iAds. Attendance will also be more publishing industry-oriented than consumer-focused. The event will unveil improvements to the iBooks platform, and is not “major.” Stay tuned for more details
