If Apple declines to appear at your Mac-centric trade show, the next best thing is to get the actors who portray two-thirds of the company’s founders in an upcoming movie.

We showed you all sorts of videos comparing the iPhone 4 with other smart phones but, I think the best comparison is with the Canon EOS 7D, a $1,200+ digital SLR camera . You still don’t think i4’s camera is amazing? Well check out the cover of the new issue of Macworld mag.
Yeah, we can all agree that the iPhone 4 has an exceptional camera ( remember we’re still talking about a phone ). We showed you all sorts of videos comparing the iPhone 4 with other smart phones but, I think the best comparison is with the Canon EOS 7D, a $1,200+ digital SLR camera ( check here ) . Here is something we didn’t know about Square: You can plug-in the Square dongle into your MacBook or iMac , anywhere you want , not just into your iPhone or iPod Touch.
We talked about Square quite a bit in the past couple of months ( here, here, here and here ). In this video, Jack Dorsey founder of Square and co-reator of Twitter, is demoing the service at MacWorld 2010. Here is something we didn’t know about Square: You can plug-in the Square dongle into your MacBook or iMac , anywhere you want , not just into your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Some of you might not even know who John Gruber is, but you know about DarringFireball. Most of you hate Gruber’s guts, because he trashes everything you believe in. Other people hate Gruber because he didn’t allow comments on his blog. Gruber has explained that he dislikes comments because they distract from his all-important voice. This is exactly the kind of egotistical statement that makes him unpopular with many people, especially other writers, but a must-read pundit.
But love him or hate him, he is smart, and even if you don’t agree with him, his words will always make you think…

The Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco is getting ready to discover Apple’s latest creations. The Yerba Buena Center is near the Moscone Center –the location for many years of the annual Macworld Expo — and is Steve Jobs’ preferred venue for major product launches. Tomorrow is a big day…
In this video, well take a quick look at how the iPhones voice control reacts to different accents. Well also test the digital compass, Find My iPhone feature, and the smudge-proof screen
Dudes at MacWorld created a new video from the “Stress Test” series, and this time the victim is the one and only iPhone 3Gs.
They tested the new features of Voice Control, Compass, Find My iPhone screen and also tested the iPhone in quite extreme conditions that reflects everyday life.
I know that all iPhone users were expecting this years edition of MacWorld. But the thing is that it was a bit of a disappointment for this section of Apple’s market. And im not talking here about that they didnt announce an iPhone nano or a new FW for the iPhone. Most of the iPhone users, or potentional new customers were expecting a new 32 GB iPhone. Why? I never fully comprehend this need. I just cant enjoy a movie on a screen this small and i certainly cant read an ebook so im just fine on a 8 GB.
But, what about music? This is one aspect that i never thought about. And today i realized that i want to take all my music that i have on my computer and put it on my iPhone. But the thing is that currently i got 95.5 GB of mp3 files on my computer…. how the fuck should i store all that music on a 8 GB iphone? Well i did a lil bit of digging , and i discovered something AMAZING! Check it out….

The first exciting news from Macworld 2009 came late Monday afternoon when Sling Media PR director Brian Jaquet announced that we will see the much anticipated SlingPlayer for the iPhone by the end of the quarter. If you own a version of their SlingBox set top, this app will allow you to watch live TV, record DVR programs, and even watch recorded films over the air with a 3G or wifi connection.
Six months ago at WWDC, Sling showed off a proof-of-concept SlingPlayer on a jailbroken iPhone. Sling also informed reporters that they were using a jailbroken phone because they had not been accepted into Apple’s Developer Program. From that moment, the rumor mill went into overdrive about why we have not seen an Apple approved SlingPlayer in the app store.
Along with the exciting iPhone news, Sling Media also announced that their streaming site, sling.com will begin supporting OS X via a browser plugin. For the first time, Mac users will be able to stream HD TV on their browsers from the SlingPlayer. Very exciting to see that Sling is finally showing Apple some love and I, for one, can’t wait to see the demo in person.
The TUAW team did a great job with a couple of videos from MacWorld. I love Griffin Tech, and i think that they had some really cool toys this year at MacWorld, as you can see in the TUAW video. You can check the original post , with additional info by the TUAW team , here .
