Tomb Raider Reboot Arrives in Mac App Store [video]

Praised for successfully reimagining an iconic video game character for modern times, the 2013 hit game Tomb Raider is now available for OS X.

Praised for successfully reimagining an iconic video game character for modern times, the 2013 hit game Tomb Raider is now available for OS X. The game launched exclusively on the Mac App Store, and will arrive on other digital platforms, like Steam on January 30. The game, while  known for its single-player campaign, has an online multiplayer mode, but you won’t be able to access it if you buy the game from the Mac App Store. If you wish to play online multiplayer you will have to buy the game on Steam as it requires a Steam account to participate in its Mac-to-Mac only online play.

Square-Enix has released Tomb Raider I for iPhone and iPad today, bringing the popular 1996 action-adventure game to mobile devices for the first time.

screen568x568Square-Enix has released Tomb Raider I for iPhone and iPad today, bringing the popular 1996 action-adventure game to mobile devices for the first time. The latest adaptation of the title features touch-optimized controls with all of the levels from the original and two extra chapters that were included in the game’s 1998 re-release, giving you a total play time of around 15 hours. Also supports game controllers such as the MOGA Ace Power and the Logitech PowerShell.
