eXo Platform is Recruiting iPhone Developer

This has nothing to do with improving your personal device ( at this momment ) but it can improve your life. Times can be tough right now, you may or may not have a job, you need money and i know that you are skilled. I know this sounds like an ad, or something like that… but the thing is that i have nothing in common with this comapny and i am not getting paid to deliver this message.I just thought that some of you might be interested in this.

  • Apple Macintosh product development experience, OS/X Platform knowledge
  • Experience of the iPhone’s user interface and technical features
  • iPhone development experience. An app in the App Store would be a plus
  • Cocoa / Objective C
  • Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML-RPC)
  • Experience in JavaScript coding: DOM, AJAX, DHTML, CSS, Prototype, Object Oriented Programming

HowTo Crack Applications Using Crackulous

Once you load Crackulous , you will be presented with a list of all the apps you have on your device. The process of cracking apps using Crackulous is a no-brainer, so really u have nothing to be affraid of.

The only thing you need to do is to selecte the app(s) that you want to crack by tapping them, and then tap the crack button on the upper right corner.

Instinctiv Shuffle for iPhone and iPod Touch

New day, new app in Cydia. It’s called Instinctiv Shuffle. Now i wasn’t sure what this app does exactly, so i sent a mail to the devs. The devs did a wonderful job with the reply. Not only it was a fast reply , they also provided me with a nice description of the app and some screenshots. So this post will be a little bit different just to spice things up.I will post the mail i sent them and the reply i got from them.

I just found smart shuffle on cydia! What does it do exactly? im guessing its somehow a AI like app that learns from your skipped songs and it will ” dictate ” to the built in ipod not to play them so often.

Can u confirm this and maybe provide me with more info? I would like to create a blog post about it

Hey Funky Space Monkey,

You’re exactly right: Instinctiv shuffle analyzes what songs you’re skipping and decides what songs to play next.  It integrates beautifully with the iPod — I’ve attached screenshots — by replacing the default random shuffle.  We figure out what you’re in the mood for right now, what songs you generally like and don’t like and what songs you individually think are similar to other songs in your library — it’s pretty cool, and all you have to do is do what you always do: listen to the songs you want to hear and skip the ones you aren’t in the mood for.  Our users go from skipping every 1.6 songs with random shuffle to every 31 songs with Instinctiv!  Let me know what else we can tell you, and thanks for the write up! ~ PB

CHEAP iPhone WANNABES

Do you remember 2+ years ago when Steve Jobs first said the magic word : ” iPhone ” ? I know you do, but you remember it as a fan, in some cases a worshiper, but still…. You know who remembers that day like it was yesterday ? EVERYBODY in the industry. When the iPhone came out, it ruined everybodys plans. Everybody wants to copy the iPhone, but they didn’t succeed not even today after all this time.

I’m not talking here about the N97, or the android, not even about the Blackberry. Those are still top notch phones, that can be a real threat for the iPhone. But are you aware about the Asian cell phone industry?

mySMS CONTEST FINALE

First of all , I wanna thank all of you for your wonderful job. This was not a contest to see who is harder, better, faster or stronger ( I love Daft Punk 😛 ). I choose to present you this contest for the following reasons :

  • Well, I had to come up with a concept that would resemble a competition ( that’s why this was a “contest” )
  • Really , the answers didn’t matter. Before the contest I was thinking about it long and hard. How can I make this as easy as possible? So I thought this was the best idea. I wanted you to have fun and make it personal…. Now I may have confused you with ” make it personal ” . Well I wanted to give you the power, and customize this app, with words. And that is exactly what you did. “I want this and that, and this?!?!? U kidding that would be so cool…” Feel me? 😀

This was my best idea for the contest. And it’s a win-win situation. Pavel provided me this codes so he wins because now, he knows exactly what his users wants from this app. And you/we win because some of the features will be implemented in future releases. Now this was the history of the contest.

I said above that your comment didn’t need to be some super geeky comment . But I also said that this was ment to improve this app, for us. the users.

And some of you asked for some stuff that was already there. There already is convo style, you can find themes for mySMS on cydia (ugly ass themes, but hey if you want themes you can find them ) and all sorts of stuff. Don’t worry about it tho,  demands like that won’t disadvantage  you in any way.


My only disappointment was that I couldn’t provide the tutorial video that I promised you. Don’t worry as soon as I get it from Pavel , that badboy will be on my blog and you will learn how to take full advantage of this app.


That being said, I had fun with this contest, and I promise you this was just a start. With time I will provide you bigger and better contests.

Since it’s Christmas time, and Pavel absolutely ROCKSSSSSS , he gave me another 3 key codes and said i should choose 3 winners . So i would have to deal with this hard work ( of choosing winners ) as well. Hard but…. i will post the winners in a couple of hours.
