Apple Updates iBooks and iTunes U With iOS 7 UI

Apple updated today its iBooks and iTunes U apps, both apps ditching the skeuomorphic UI and adopting iOS 7’s look.

The icons of the apps have been updated as well, iBooks’ icon showing an orange gradient background behind a white illustration of an open book while iTunes U’s icon features a graduate’s cap as the centerpiece of its logo and the same orange gradient background.

iBooks is available as an universal app ( iPhone and iPad ) on the App Store. iTunes U is available as an universal app ( iPhone and iPad ) on the App Store.

Stanford University is coming back this year with a new iPhone development course available for free in iTunes. The lessons will enable you to learn the basics of Xcode, Object C and much more.
